Private Guided Tour of the exhibition “Shaping Ireland” in the National Gallery,
Dublin and Lunch at the Hibernian Club on Stephen’s Green, Dublin, 15th May 2019
Following a very pleasant & uneventful journey to Dublin on the Enterprise we had
a most successful and enjoyable visit to the National Gallery, Dublin. Our Guide
was quite excellent and, despite her young years, was extremely knowledgeable on
all the Works in the exhibition.
We then left the National Gallery for a short walk round to The Hibernian Club on
Stephen’s Green where we were served an excellent lunch complete with a glass of
decent wine. We had to forego the Port as it was suddenly time to leave for the train
- a journey made very easy by having a taxi rank right outside the Club.
Many thanks to Clare and Wilton for organising the trip and to Olive for handling
the ticketing and finances.
